By using Quick Transcribe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
Service Description
Quick Transcribe provides AI-powered transcription services. We convert audio and video files into text using advanced machine learning technology. Technical specifications including file size limits and supported formats are detailed in our FAQ section.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Only upload content you own or have permission to transcribe
- Not upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content
- Use the service for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or abuse our systems
- Respect file size and usage limitations
Prohibited Content
You may not upload:
- Copyrighted material without permission
- Illegal or harmful content
- Content that violates others' privacy
- Malicious files or code
- Content that promotes hate speech or violence
Service Availability
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues that temporarily affect service availability.
Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for high accuracy, transcriptions are provided "as is" and may contain errors. We recommend reviewing all transcriptions for accuracy, especially for critical applications.
Limitation of Liability
Quick Transcribe shall not be liable for:
- Transcription errors or inaccuracies
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Loss of data or files
- Consequential or indirect damages
Credit Purchases and Right of Withdrawal
Credits purchased through Quick Transcribe are added to your account automatically and immediately once your payment is confirmed.
As a consumer in the EU, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. However, by completing a credit purchase you expressly request that we begin performance immediately - crediting your account before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired. Because credits are digital content not supplied on a physical medium, your right of withdrawal expires once we have begun supplying it to you, i.e. once the credits have been added to your account.
If you wish to withdraw before your credits have been delivered, contact us immediately at the email address below. Beyond the statutory right of withdrawal described here, purchased credits are otherwise non-refundable.
Purchased and free credits do not expire. If a transcription request fails or cannot be delivered due to a technical error on our side, the credits charged for that request are automatically refunded to your account.
Donations
Donations via Buy Me a Coffee are voluntary and do not create any service obligations or guarantees.
Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your uploaded content and transcriptions. Quick Transcribe claims no ownership over user content.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to users who violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by German law. For users outside the EU, local consumer protection laws may also apply.
